I'll be razing into DD's future wars as well. I haven't had a province in I don't know how many ages now, but their actions here make it very clear that I must return. If you come to my home (the forums) and chit all over the place I am going to come to your house (in game) and piss all over the rug (no matter how much it ties the room together). Of course if you count the provs in their own kd that are razing, that's 4 kds razing you guys, not even 3....

Yes I am sympathetic cos 44 razes in a war is griefing, you were out of order, ROO is out of order, and my first thought is the negative impact on Uto (shan't post it all again, said my bit already) and that is why I do not like Bishop being involved in this situation.

Having said that I get that DD need to take a different tack to get what they want, although I fully understand why they are doing what they are doing and exactly how they must be feeling. It's like raze killing you using your own provs wouldn't be productive in the slightest anyway, because if you spawned in another kd and did it all again how are they further forward...

I did wonder whether they should just have coughed up some modest acres to Octo because Octo wouldn't get to keep them anyway because someone else in the top 5 would get hacked off at Sparta getting free acres and hit them. (I didn't realise before Band of Horses posted that Octo was in Sparta, and a lot of people hate Sparta for some reason). Then I thought hmmm maybe that's the idea, because maybe you guys hate Sparta too, and want to give them 'free acres' just to see them get royally whacked. And then I thought well maybe the acres just go through Sparta to some other kd, or maybe you think that DD will get whacked by other top end kds too for giving Sparta free land and they'll demand some, and at that point I gave up wondering because it was all too complex and looked pretty nasty to me to involve a bigger ghetto in top end powerplay regardless of anything else, if that was the purpose.

Average player has no idea who is hating on who and why unless someone starts a thread about it and includes a lot of detail. You have to guess bits of it.

I was referring to 4 kingdoms razing you 4 guys at once - Strippers, DD, and Sheister's old kingdom plus some of your own players razekilling you.

If you've had more than 4 kingdoms razing you at one time, the mind boggles, what else did you guys do and to whom in that case, please tell??

Extremely common. If you go into a war and expect no outside razes then you are either foolish or are BB (because how can you not love BB?).

Knowing the top is critical to living in the forums. If you want to being so outspoken on the forums I would suggest acquiring that wisdom.

So if this was a conflict between KD A & KD B:

KD A waves into KD B.
KD B replies, "stop hitting us or we will raze into your future wars". (Then receives 3 more hits before KD A leaves KD B alone)
In KD A's next war, KD B retals the 3 extra hits with 14-15x OOW razes per hit made.
KD A's response is to RK a province in KD B once they exit war.
A couple of days of nothing follows..
KD B thinking the matter is now settled since "nothing happened in 2 days" pursue a war(conflict) with KD C. KD A starts razing into KD B's war.
KD B makes complaints on forum.

If the above situation had unfolded, the regular responses in this forum would have been along the lines of "Learn to do diplo", "A conflict aint over before both parties agree's its over", "Suck it up KD B, you put yourselves in that position".


Now, I am totally aware that the following situation is not KD vs KD, yet it seems strange to me that a conflict between 2 parties (DD & Sheister (+ RoO)) is treated so differently.
- Why didn't Sheister settle the situation with DD ? The usual consensus on these forums is that conflicts aren't over as long as there is no agreement from both parties to solve the situation. Apparently you usually dont get to just walk away from conflicts and decide its settled because you have something else you want to do. (And if Sheister was willing to leave the conflict with DD, why not just name his province something random so DD would never have found him ? Seems to me a quick and easy way out ?)

You are correct (in essence.). I made an assumption based on the behavior I was observing and was giving DD room. My assumption was wrong and I should not have joined RoO and continued to kd hop and raze into them. Essentially I decided to be nice and DD used that to come back and bite me and then involved RoO because I had joined them. If I had been razing intoDD the entire time, RoO would not be involved and DD would still be refusing diplomacy with me.

I don't know which is "better for the game". My mistake was letting DD go. I will never repeat that with them again.

I hate it when people I like fight with each other. I suggest y'all admit mistakes were made, make up(hugs optional) and move on. This has gone too long. too much has happened and too many people are now involved at different stages to even try to figure out who was more wrong when.

Seems like diplomacy broke down and they have continued to raze us. AFAIK Bishop and Krynn was close to a deal

Actually there was a temporary stop to attacks then they started again. Dunno what happend but apparently Krynn has been disposed as diplomat. I was sleeping myself while this happend.

Based on historical reference to that it did not end well and you might consider building a wall.
