that does not mean the kingdom deciding will not farm you. You do not have to war... but they can take the acres off you and make it very difficult for you to war again. You either eat a wave and get it deemed not hostile or you retal in which it will be deemed hostile.

You do not have to play for land but when in the range of those who do they will come for it and if you fail to prep or go about things in a manner to defend yourself well enough then... expect to take the hits
