    i have one suggestion concerning war terms. create a way for kings to agree formally on certain terms, like duration, no pk, and other standard things. and kings can agree on a minimum land gain needed for the win after the agreed duration.
    these agreements should then be automatically monitored and enforced in some way...not sure if this is possible, but if it is, it would be awesome

    Ambush protection is easier to use. It's a passive bonus. You have it without having to do anything. Free draft can be used in good and bad ways. So the simplicity of use is on my side :P

    dragons are to expensive for what they do. I think all dragons need to do more damage,


    bring back avians give them the meteor shower spell, make mystic all guilds 2x effective and give them spell strength bonus maybe 10-15%?

    Bring back the old raze but make it somewhat weaker than it was.

    Bring back Avian and Undead.

    Give Orcs 8/3 elite. I liked VT2's idea for free draft locked on normal.

    DE are popular but no way overpowered.

    I suggest giving them a 6/6 elite. Static defense is so annoying.
    Give them no access to exploring.
    +4 Training and Building Times.
    Leave everything else the same.

    Link Paradise to half of the explore pool.

    6/6 leet would still make it static, since they would use there off spec for attacking due to networth effect.

    Take away the +50% cost of exploration for Dark elfs, they paradice anyays so its not that bad, i think taking banks away from them is rediculous, but maybe a food or income penalty?or u can delete darkelfs, bring back undead because i think a lot fo prefered no need of food to no need of runes...

    A question: What's the rationale for bringing the game back up to 8 races? You don't think it will be hard to make them all unique?

    edit: 6/6 elites on DE sounds like a bad idea. Why should they be made stronger? "Static" def is the only real drawback they have.

    when the dwarf had 6/6 it was like 7 nw per unit, there off spec got 4.8 at the moment. so it would be a huge difference between running elites and not running them, but yes it might give them a tiny amount of turtle ability.

    A 6/6 Elite helps out in two ways.

    People should not want to run T/M as much.
    No static defense.

    This can be balanced with other penalties. 4+ training and building with no exploring is good enough for me.

    If that is not good than DE had a BE penalty in the start that gave them a hard time.

    We can bring that back to a reasonable extent.

    7 is too high 6.5 is reasonable .

    Noobs had a really hard time with the BE penalty so we might not see such a huge number of DE which I think is good for the game to have diversity.

    Exploring is barely ever used by DE's. Building times would require a big rebuild in the game since it's designed for 24 hours max currently, and I don't think that drawback really makes a difference. A 6/6 elite would make more than 50% of the server go DE's, and I doubt you'd see a lesser amount of t/m's either. Free spells and +1 stealth is why people go DE t/m, though I must say I haven't seen many t/m's this age.

    What about if they had a BE penalty like they did before?

    Are your thought still the same even with that penalty?

    There are many ways to program. It does not have to effect the rest of the game.

    They can simply increase the time in the Dark Elf interface.

    BE penalty would make them weaker, but I'm not sure if it would make them less popular. The love for free spells goes deep :(
