White Listing vs Sitting...A REAL ANSWER PLEASE!

I have posted this question in other threads and have not received a legit answer so I will ask this here....

I understand the seriousness of cheating Utopia faces on a daily basis what I don't understand is the justification you give to "sitting" since I see it as a paid way to xlog aka cheat versus white listing. To me, again, this is a PAY TO CHEAT system.

Bishop, when this new system was implemented you basically said....deal with it. Find alternate strategies to work around the system if you are playing from the same house. Yet, you don't see anything wrong with sitting. If someone cannot play their province why should they be able to PAY to get someone to xlog into their province? Why should that kingdom not have to find a way to "deal with it" or "rethink their strategy"? That person should just have to go into vaca mode and deal with it instead of being able to PAY TO XLOG.

What is the difference between a white listing compared to a sitting? Answer please.

    Summary from the other threads:
The sitters issue stands apart from the introduced IP block system and should be discussed separately.
Pay to cheat is still cheating.
    Sitting has duration limitations.

You can sit for 3 weeks, no? Wars don't even last that damn long so how is it not cheating to sit? Now can I get a real answer?

and now MORE info about sitting ....every time a province changes hands for sitting it resets the 3 weeks....Oh my! and you dont call this pay to play?

Its not cheating because rules allow it ... theres your real answer. You opinion on the matter is irrelevant since your not the one making rules in this game.

Bishop has stated that restrictions for couples were collateral damage; not the target of the new system.
This is my province. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My province is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
My province, without me, is useless. Without my province, I am useless.
I must attack hard with my province. I must attack harder than my enemy who is trying to pk me. I must pk him before he pk's me. I will...

    Nope

    Spirit of the Rules

Players attempting to manipulate rules and quirks of the game in ways obviously not intended may be subject to deletion. Because of their nature, these types of circumstances are considered on a case-by-case basis. Users should avoid actions they believe are against the spirit and intent of the game.

    sitting isn't xlogging

When it's set up the sitter inherits the other prov. It's much closer to multi-ing their it is xlogging, if you want to run the "sitting is illegal" route...

ok..so let me get this straight. You can PAY to have a country sit for 3 weeks. Someone else in the same KD PAYS to sit same 1st province after three weeks(time resets), at the end of the 2nd set of 3weeks a 3rd person again PAYS to sit province for 3 more weeks so thats a total of 9 weeks if the chain dont continue. And you dont call this cheating/multi-ing/x-logging? Regardless, same person logging into two provinces according to the geniuses here is cheating. Lets just call it what it is. Pay to Play.

Not the way it was explained to me from someone thats been playing a looooooooooooong time. Everytime someone else sits the province the 3 week time limit resets.

Regardless Palem, its still one person logging into two provinces. still cheating.
