maybe the quaran(forgive me for spelling) would be an even better choice for a history book?

I am from the mid-west and while i believe in a greater power, or something above us that is not human or of this world. I am not religious. How many aspiring scientists do you know that are religious? The Mid-West is also highly dependent on its technology, there is also an issue of lack of population to help us sustain the work and care for others.

I don't read any bible or Qur'an for religious history. I like things more like the Spanish Inquisition or Queen Mary's rule over England killing protestants because she believe Catholicism was the true religion.

In california it's an age issue.

If its regional then why are all the kids so laid back about it, while their parents are religious? I see it everywhere, stats has nothing on first hand experiences.

So who's to say a bunch of old men from ancient greece or even sumeria [E.G. they built on it over and over? from past generations to their present]) Then again to state the bible is a lie made of human superstition within a modern era is either a claim or opinion?

ancient greece, rome, and egypt did some remarkable things.. I can't even imagine how many americans and how much money it would cost to build the pyramids, the coliseum, or the pyramids..

Really nothing in the bible can compare to these works. And I even if americans only used gasoline powered machines, i still do not think it is possible.

In my eyes biggest sin of average american Jos is his patriotism. You are born and bread into belif USA is bestest country of all times and is best at like everything. This is huge issue imo, you should all be ******ing and criticizing your goverment, steping on its toes every every step of the way, ignoring good thing it does and crying and screaming about things that need fixing. Ofc its unfair and hypocritical but its the only way to force it to improve life of its citizens. Relying on goverment and corporations which hold political/economical power to take good care of its people from pure altruism is VERY stupid.

On the sidenot it really makes me sad how some people on these boards view poor and uneducated people ... it really shows how fuc*ed up todays society is when some1 can actually ignore the fact so many ppl work like a slaves 12+ hours a day and still arent able to aford themself even the basics like education/healthcare that should really be free and accesible to everyone. It literally PAINS me physically that you are not able to see the injustice in such huge devaluation of human labour no matter how unqualified and manual it is.

here is more food for though, the level of a mans education does not weigh his intelligence nor does it weigh his ability to live or survive. Limiting one's self to such an aspect as trivial as education or even government, ignoring basic human rights, even basic concepts; could this in itself be seen as stupid even as educated as it is?

I mean when people accept that they are just average, they do not try. Smart people, who are capable, who aren't supported or motivated to exceed
rarely do so.

The problem is that the smart people usually want to be part of the exploitation and worked towards turning the world into the craphole that it is today. If they used their brains to do something besides ***** about the stupid people taking their oxygen maybe there would be a solution, but there probably won't be.
