I got 200,000gc on Sanc. Any takers?

Simians have 7 attackers left that are above 2k acres in the mid range while Sanc has 16. (2 are 1900 acres)

The strat that Sanc is using is clear... DEEP chains to drop simian attackers out of range.

Even though chuck says he's too active to be disabled.. he's 82k NW.

I think the only thing Simians has going for them is the fact that they have 3 maybe 4 faeries in range of Sanc's attackers so they can keep their peasants down.

but that doesn't out weigh the fact that sanc has more attacking power in the mid range.
It's just a matter of time before 1 more simian is dropped below 400 acres.. then another and another..

Massacres need to be followed up with NS to disable orc offense. The other way is to with avian be the first one to get turtled and aided while both provs are on low def, however it appears you deepchained first so you prevented simians from taking advantage of turtling. Granted that now it appears just based on how much NW you pumped into your chainees there's no viable way to kill off your provinces with your feary econ, but there was for a week. However don't get me wrong to Simians, in pretty much every war I've led I generally lose the battle of the smalls, so please don't take it as me thinking I could do any better. It's quite easy to know what to do when attacking every 7-8 hours and on no sleep, its much harder to get 25 people to execute it. I've never warred past 3 days, this is incredibly impressive on both sides.

KD page shows you won, you've effectively managed your kd aid to your smalls and have shown the ability to completely disable down to 35k NW. Only way I can see you losing now is if simians is able to get 20% towers in across their provinces and to take out your fearies' peasant count and turn the tide economically. This should be Simians #1 focus in order to turn the tide from here.

The easiest people to disable are the ones who bounce, miss waves by an hour + and generally aren't up to par and aren't active as the rest.

activity will drop sooner or later unless your working players start getting fired, divorced and start bumming. Or unless you've 25 really skilled players in the kd which can rotate sitting every 4-5 days and have all the time on the world and can follow orders without being motivated. People need a goal or reason to be motivated over a long war, effort has to in turn garner some form of reward and there doesn't seem to be any rewards from this 10+day war other than making the news.

This war is most interesting... there is little disparity in skill/activity between Sanctuary and Simians which is why the war is lasting so long.

There is much more going on in this war than the Kingdom Page's show... imo this war is still even steven.
Consider that Sanc already is mass-aiding Orcs while not actually gaining any advantage in the middle tier, since their Orcs can be easily dropped.
Avians have survived this long without major aid... so as long as the top provinces remain stagnant the war of the middle tier will sway towards Simians.

A lot of strategy going on still, definitely the best war I've played in.

Interesting. I am reminded of Anris postings about OS farming themselves out. Yet, he is handing prov crown to sanc on a platter. gg.

Though I do say that with no hard feelings intended, I am sure it will be taken the wrong way. Just thought Id bring it up.
GG to both sides for a very long war.

Simians are 4 hitters down and sanc has great nw range to finish chains in 100-200k brackets, and from their nwpa I guess they had enough aid to prevent easy multitaps from sub 100k apes.
Too few apes in mid tier, too strong fae economy on sanc side.

Guess simians could try feeding chainees hoping to regain foothold at the bottom but I think its too late, not enough acres left on them. Sanc has an advantage and is in position to finish chains efectivly unlike simians.

gg Sanc, rly impressive war from both sides tho

This is one of best war seen so far.. Anri and co good job I wld say but the only thing I can say is that your offence is dropping. Merchant isent helping avian a lot in this war. Orcs on the other hand have stable offence if not increasing offence. (i sot'd some provinces in both kds..)

Also the number of attackers simians are having is lessening day by day. They are now 3 attackers short and thos big guys are not helping much into chains(according to paper)

It would be really impressive if simians can turn around this war and win it..

Bishop - Can we get this thread in utopia page? There are some very good posts made by dorje, flogger and realest(to name a few) and many people might get an idea of how long wars or some basic formulas work..

The only conclusion I can draw thus far is that both sides are royally screwed going forward. Long wars wreak havoc on trade balances, and in simians case, WPA.
