After spending an hour reading this 11 page thread, and chatting up a couple of people in irc, I recall vividly why I don't play this game anymore. I see things are no better.
Is AMA wrong? Perhaps. But CR was also wrong. So I say fight it out, may the best KD win. Then move on... to the next 200 page cf deal that has a huge hole in it. :D

What Kygal was wanting to know when this was posted, in relation to when the CF ended, Anri. They posted this thread 8 days before the Cease Fire period ran out. We waved 2 days before the Cease Fire period ran out. No notice was given.

Just a quick reply to this thread before I write up a bigger post that will likely get ignored by everyone and their dog:

Elit had no active part in this. This was a decision made by the kingdom as a whole. We had a number of options, some which would have been within the letter of our CF agreements and some that were not. We voted, we discussed and we came to the conclusion that this was what we wanted to do. Ethics have gone out the window, even before we reacted with this action. We are not saying what we did is correct. We are not saying that we are doing this to win the age. We had no intention of winning the age when we started this, and we have no illusions that we will not win it now. I will explain our point of view further in a bigger post later in this thread.

Verbal, written, or any cf honestly is no good. No matter who it's between (With very very few exceptions), there are always loopholes in it. Ways to bend it to your kd's current needs.

AMA was backed into a corner, and they reacted. As they should have. CR gave 'notice of notice', which in my opinion is the same as notice. And since AMA waved well after the 72 hrs of waiting was past, then did they really deal break?

CR started this, by the 'notice of notice' and should have been watching AMA closely, as Realest said. That's like throwing a punch and then turning your back on that person... You're gonna get sucker punched in the back of your head.

Do crowns really matter anymore when deals can't be held? Utopia can't continue in the current state. Really no point tbh. We've tried to form a nice community with unwritten rules and see who can win fairly, and some parties just don't care. Waste of 8 weeks, waste of 15 years :)

I expect a post from AMA soon that will spin this in a million different directions on why they're the victims. I would at least have some respect for them to state: "We couldn't win so we decided we didn't care." I'll take the moral victory.
