PewPew, a Brief History

Age 57: Pew gets into a conflict with Rage, Rage decides to milk a hostile for longer than anticipated. Rather than war and lose, Pew resets all their provinces so Rage cannot double crown. Pew finishes somewhere in the top 100.
Age 58: Pew donates like 100k acres to SWEA in a war deemed actionable by mods. They do so to prevent AMA from crowning, and to avoid AMA taking their acres. Pew finishes 12th.
Age 59: Pew "loses" ~50k acres to RBL in a conflict where half their outgoing attacks were learns. They have two "arranged wars" with ED (to prevent AMA from taking acres), Ryan wins the land crown and joins Pew the next age (surprise?) Pew finishes 10th.
Age 60: Pew heartily gangbangs AMA late-age. They finish in 2nd after a farm war with legacy nets them like 35-40k acres.
Age 61: Pew intra-razes cows so BB can't get many acres; they post veiled threats like "BB will not crown this age."

Pretty much every person I've spoken with in Pew (binar, bungarm, chrystal, etc) seems like a cool person. But from a kingdom-level perspective, seriously what gives? Is this a history you guys are proud of?

4 out of the last 5 ages, when you were faced with a sizable conflict in the top 5, you gave up in one way or another and bailed, several times resorting to scummy and questionable mechanics use?

How do you guys work so hard for weeks on end, just to throw it all away with no integrity or pride whatsoever? Are you that spiteful? I honestly don't get it.

Do you really work hard to get 90k acres by using pool and not warring once?

Pew2 wasn't a part of the gb. They didn't want to participate since they had an arranged war with legacy. They actually lobbied repeatedly to have it come to an end. Not sure why ama would be anything but nice to them, nor how winning a war by a large margin is somehow indicative of a kd being bad.

You see I think some are taking this out of context, instead of taking the easy way out and devising a way to get away from BB, Pew decided to fight them head on knowing that winning was grasping at straws, but still wanted to try and man up and show people that they won't back down despite having little to no chance. Instead meeting them head-on BB decides to abuse a well-known exploit to gain further advantage and effectively say F you to Pew for manning up in the situation. Shameful, yes, well-played PEW, no acres for abusers and KDs with no integrity.

They come ask for a cf extend less than 24 hours before it expires when we have already made some preparations. Normally, talks to extend a cease fire start a few days earlier already.
This was basically an "oh damn, we've got CF expiring and we're not ready"

And again, for me it was either agree to war at a specific date (to be agreed) or give us acres for a cf extend.

It's pretty clear I suggested we should extend so you (a friendly near ally kd to us) could pump in peace and not have to prep as we would be busy. Unlike previous ages where people run into arranged wars 2 hours before notices expire. I said this before any attempted notice as a courtesy to you but you apparently think you're entitled to powerplay and bully to get the fights you want. Thus you're now in this situation as the game continues to deteriorate due to the lack of maturity among some of today's top KD leaders.

Noone did anything wrong. PewPew prepared badly by planning to avoid BB all along then finally deciding to war them, given overdrafted provinces 72h to stock gc while BB been gathering gc for like two weeks. Big misstake from PewPew that either should have dodged BB by go to war with RBL 2 days ago, or agreed to fight BB on a set date from the beginning and prepared for it. Also it doesnt help when one of two cow players goes inactive and starves and then doesnt even prep half well for a fight against 3 other cows.

BB on the other hand played out their setup with bouncing cows perfectly. Kudos so strategical genious (flogger once again shows hes king of meta strategy). But as some people pointed out, if you are already in a much stronger position, trying to make ur position even better might cause the other kd to just back out in an odd way (learn from rage vs pewpew age 57 or when that was).

And the effect bounces have on hostile meter is retarded and need to be changed.

I dont think BB have done anything wrong. They played out their strategy, they gave PewPew both time to prep if they wanted to fight, or a fairly resonable price for a CF, being quite the gentlemen. Who in their position would had done more?

You can ALWAYS choose to bully whoever you want (especially in a war game), however, if the person avoid/run better than you can get any gain from it, you be pissed?

elit if your age is a success why QQ and threaten 3D for RBL? and pew didnt run from anything. why go into war knowingyou will lose this war and shape charts? Ryan fracked things up while Tox was away. so we had a choice. go to war with BB (which i was excited about) and farm out to them or raze our acres so no one gets them. i got bent over when we extended CF to AMA. i was NOT going to bend over for BB. in my opinion it was a good call for pewpew. also i do not speak for pew and this is just my opinion. i really wanted a fun war with kuhan. i joined pewpew just for war forums and the excitment of warring ama and simians and the likes. but i also refuse to fight a war that would ensure our total destruction. BB you guys did good preparing and maybe one day i will get to be in a war against you.

It woulda been fun. I was plannin on going against orders actually and hitting specifically you and vetock the whole time!

I made a big mistake during war preparations though that turned my prov into chit, so i was a little bummed out about that lol. So if you guys were wondering why my prov was kinda bad it's because of that mistake.

Im perfect aware about this and its was Ryan main. I put my trust on Tox. After all some one need to make first step and second side need to accept it and move in same direction. Its what me and Tox made and its why we don't have any grudge more. I can say same for AMA and Pyro.

I know what you said, but you made absolutely no intentions to make some sort of arrangement to just agree to war on a specific date or to give up acres for an extended cease fire. Not sure if you remember, when ZZ asked you for a CF extend after their though war, you refused as well.. whats the difference? Difference is that I offered more time, but you wouldn't even consider talking about some arrangement, all you did was say you'd find someone to be occupied with. Fault is on you, not on me.
