A) It was stated that the game would mimic the old code, with a few exceptions aka. changes. This was not mentioned as one of the changes. Therefore this is just as much of a "bug" as say, missing plague on orcs. Or 20 thief NS for that matter.
B) that they are ghettoes doesnt mean that they cant gang up and achieve something. It has happened before, and it will happen again.
C) being involved in a couple of alliance wars over the years i have a fair view of the "politics of the game".
D) ive seen (), and i fail to see the relevance. The system being sound or not is a completely different discussion. I prefer landgains, but if all of a sudden all my hits were landbased with the game supposed to give me nwbased i would still call that a bug. Wouldnt you?
From the looks of it Sonata, with full knowledge of the declare bug, decided to lure a kd into giving them the button by suiciding. Not being aware of the bug () took the bait - like they should have assuming the game was working as intended - and found themselves in a war that was not supposed to be possible.
You can ***** and moan all you want about how its not fair that kds 50% smaller are protected by this mechanism. Doesnt change a thing. Its just a silly attempt to deflect attention.
P.S. im glad you appreciated my William Wallace style speech! LL FREEDOM!

Sonata absolutely did not "lure" them into it. Sonata does what every whoring kingdom does, feed on kingdoms who don't retal. The ghetto got annoyed, made a sweet move of a retal mini-wave, and ended up paying the price for it due to faulty game mechanics. That's all there is.
