I'm always perplexed that kingdoms don't see the economy of tac. It's always " it'll throw attacks times off "( said with a goofy contorted face). Then with intel like SN, survey you can strike aid providers and hit before builds set if the enemy is using it's credits.

    - I'm not saying you need tac core. Just enough to get vital intel and I think they can be ideal campers for the right player. Dwarf tac because it has Mystic Aura to dodge fader ops. Tac to me is a capable theater control province and dwarf fits the mold. Offering some level of aid, low loss intel which retains tpa strength across it's combat sector, serviceable attacking with return times to switch focus. -

The numbers would obviously need to be tweaked, but this would give them a clear and obvious purpose in the game, which they currently lack. They'd be perfectly ideal for strategically wearing down enemies during wars, but would be significantly weaker outside of war due to relations meters.

Yes, it's probably overpowered as presented currently, but the idea of a blitz-based attacker who can slam a target for population damage, then rapidly change to a new target as needed is something we don't really have, and would work well with their reduced attack speed.

As it stands... avians don't really stand out as having any particularly notable purpose. They're not bad, but they aren't clearly defined like the other races are. Each race has a well defined concept behind them, and avians have speed... but they don't really have anything that makes especially useful benefit of that speed compared to other options. Sure, you attack faster and can get more land and deal more damage over time, but an orc can do the same thing by just hitting harder in all counts.

It's not even a matter of power, so much as it is a matter of not having a defined role is all. They could literally remove avians this age, as it is, and it wouldn't especially change the game since they don't really do anything particularly special.

Anyway, my idea's not the best one out there, I'm sure (I can almost guarantee it =P ), but they seriously need to get some defining feature going on other than just hitting faster for less effect.
lol, I actually like it. More ways to play the game, more different tacs that can be used.

An idea of mine concerning Sage.

How about making it 90% book protection on learns or just making them immune, and removing the other advantages? I think it'd give amnesia a bigger role in this game against these kind of targets, and i think it would be balanced.

Well the reason he probably hasn't noticed those bugs as much as some others is probably because they seems to happen a lot more frequently when top kingdoms fight(when a lot of ops/attacks are traded in a very small window) and that in itself would seem indicate that it's not a bug but a resource or queuing issue, either the server runs out of resources and your request is lost or the command queue gets filled and the server drops your request.
This can't easily be resolved by code unless the code is massively inefficient and wastes resources(in which case effectivizing the code would help to alleviate the problem), it can only be resolved by upgrading hardware which means money which isn't something this game probably isn't bringing in enough of to justify those upgrades.

Not sure about this one. But in the past whenever I took intel, and if I accidently clicked another page I could always click "back" to view the intel again. Now it loads the page but the server just restarts it without the intel:(

Rename the war win chart to "Top warring kds" instead of "Most Winningest kds" or whatever it is now.

Its currently "The Most Warring Kingdoms in the World"

Id prefer it called "The Highest Rated War Kingdoms"

Suggested this two ages ago I think, sadly ignored. It would kill a lot of that crazy war formula debating (though not all) and describe the chart much better than it currently is described.

It was ignored because a couple ages ago the formula was designed just to track strictly who won the most wars, not who the best warring kd was.

Earlier I suggested to give cleric animate dead rather than pitfalls. I'd like to add onto that to boost Cleric back to -50% losses. They once had +1 general and -50% losses.. taking the general away and increasing losses 15% was a big hit and should be reconciled.

also having the 3 main attacking personalities all have the same start-up bonus seems a bit lame, I'd like to see more unique start up benefits for cleric, warrior, and tactician... perhaps one can start with some amount of stables and horses (with one day protection, having more horses can be a big help out of the gates), or mercenary credits, or prisoners with a small amount of dungeons. IDK if any of those are balanced or feasible, but something to make them stand apart more in that regard.

-50% losses to Cleric is overkill for the races for which Cleric is actually good (Dwarf, Human, Undead, and to a far lesser extent Halfling).

Orc and Avian Cleric are bad because they are just conceptually bad. Don't pick Cleric for a race designed for fast offense.

For Human and Dwarf Cleric is pretty dang good. Having pitfalls is useful too as it saves your Elf and Fae mana for more important stuff.

Decided I might read one of these threads for first time in years. Always a great laugh to be found.

The biggest problem I have with these changes is the fact that they are never finalized until the start of the next age. Why can't it be done a few days before the end of age?
