You seem to forget I brought up the example and if I would have meant manslaughter I would have specified that. Besides, this conversation about defining if killing someone is against the law or not. Which it totally is in both cases.

It could be self-defense in which case it isn't against the law. Killing someone is not necessarily illegal. The reasoning behind it, along with the particulars of the act, determine whether it is legal or not.
