I always tried to upheld myself to the highest possible moral standards, except when people were complete ass. BB werent ass to us or to almost anyone in the game. I'm not sure you quite understand how negociations work. You ask for A, other people ask for B, you talk and eventually agree on something. That's exactly what happend here: you wanted me to take myself out, asf didnt want that, eventually me and protector agreed on something. So by bad diplo, you probably mean trusting BB?

Emeriti/Absalom players are well aware that the tactics they used this age, and for all of time, are shady and manipulative of the Utopian community. Their stance is simply to deny wrongdoing, offer their own carefully crafted point of view that absolves them of guilt, and repeat it ad infinitum. They are not here to have a logical debate on the morality of their actions. At best, they are trolls. You can all keep arguing with them as much as you want, it's somewhat entertaining. The reality is that the evidence is already present in the thread, and anyone who takes the time to read it will not have trouble coming to a conclusion. Despite the nonstop pleas of innocence from ASF, Mithras, and others, it appears that the jury has given it's verdict and the judge has ordered punishment. As Emeriti refuses to accept the terms of it, the executioner(s) must continue to carry it out.

This still doesnt justify dealbreaking, hitting into war and gbing in excess of what 100k acres and killing of multiple kds? (some random figure). There were many scenarios of worse ****plays and none of it to this scale of revenge, does this set the precedent then that ANY level of ****play can be repaid back with endless of 1 revenge because that's the precedent this is sitting. Then we would see many worser gbs and ****play disguised as revenge in future.

This is also not an alliance war, because if the definition of friends is an alliance then everyone on the server would be in an unamed alliance. Though you could argue that since abs have not formally disbanded that's subject to debate.

It's kind of funny though isn't it? My guess is that they were feeling bad since they gave bad advice and bour would have to be killed but they didn't want him killed either so because of that indecision IF it would have made a difference and BB accepted, now they are all getting killed which is a lol. It's the kind of crunch leadership kills where you have to cut of the toe to protect the body maybe they have watched too much movies where the "hero" gets to save everyone and have a happy ending.

Tell me a single instance of **** play equal or worse than this that has been met with this type of judgement in the past 20 ages?

a) Hitting into war in an organized intentional manner
b) Gangbanging
c) Breaking your word/deals

I havent been paying attention much these past 10 ages but Debauchery's intentional dealbreak and other ****play was met with SWEA **** playing them to their benefit, Elit/Ama Gbing them, etc.

There's the AMA gb but I wasn't playing then, even then all parties cféd and it wasn't that bad? Or 1 of the gb's wasn't bad because I saw a lot of AMA players laughing about it on the forums.

And in all these instances it was way worser ****play than this instance with lesser penalties inflicted. There are many hits into war and eowcf every age and every other age for the past 20 ages why have they not been met with this type of revenge or punishment? Your justification currently is that we will burn them to the ground because their ally hit into eowcf but is that a fair justification, I believe FS have probably hit,stolen, etc in wars, eowcf etc in the past at least once in your utopian playing experience should you receive the same level of punishment too?

You still can't murder a single family member let alone his whole family because it's we operate in a lawful environment where laws govern that we aren't allowed to take the law into our own hands simply because the victims are often the worst judges, i'll give you an example of bullied kids going on killing sprees in schools and neighbourhoods. In the utopian context you are the bullied kid and this is your killing spree after years of bullying that you receive. Is bullying wrong? Yes, does it justify the bullied kid's killing spree since with a weapon he's now able to powerplay? No

It took forever for Bourreau to accept anything. When I did make a proposal, I suggested they'd stay below a certain size AND we'd get 2500 acres. He haggled about the size, then we agreed to that.
All of a sudden he gets waved and surprise, his steward declares.
The next time we talked, he suddenly doesn't agree with 2500 acres??? Every time we talked it felt as if something else was changing and the whole repaying/compensating was pushed back further and further to a point where we got ZERO cow land back and we ONLY lost cow land. We also didn't get any stolen resources back which were a few million GC nor did we get compensated for any economic losses.
