    Faerys have never been unbreakable, kingdoms run their t/ms at a larger size to keep them unbreakable. That's a size issue not a race issue.

    Random thought, I know new mechanics aren't going to be implemented but how awesome would it be if sage took books every traditional march and gave a unique spell that stole them?

    If +40% thievery damage is like humans now there is not really a big difference (and I think it is). Only tpa will last longer, but this will happend anyway because if you plan to do massive ops you'll need TDs (which are reducing looses too).

    on what are you basing urelf for that? cause u saw some ghettos using it? some ppl ran it for super Cow banks. Some have used it (like sanctuary in the past) for their kd theme. It has several advantages that are useful in war. Difference is that it didnt have protection from dragon...if you were to ask them to redo that again. They would say a thousand times yes.

    i dont think its really a good one. So you will make Orcs capable of TMing? on one hand i would have said that with the fearies and elves that are most likely to Op them. You are making it too effective. FBlling is already strong as it is. However, if you make it harder for any races to Op them, and make Orcs capable of fighting on equal term , now Orcs will become OP. Simply pump good wizzards and you have heavy attackers that can kick some TMing a**

    You want to make Orcs into what exactly? how are they even going to be strong versus any other race. So +20% gains is supposed to cut it?     I played since age 3-4. the game is so different that i could almost say its not the same. So no,it doesnt make you knowledgable of the game mechanics. its funny how you say actions need to be taken against bottom feeder. what? Its already been done like 20-25 ages ago. A big guy gets almost n gain compared to max gaining and their attack time..omg..ive seen ppl getting 26 hours. Tons of time to ambush, hit back etc... I sure never hit someone if its not for max gain. Its not safe hit, but there is builds to handle that. If you run high off, there is no reason why someone would hit you from the top. When i get hit by a bottom feeder which is 1 on 20 hits. If i cant hit back. I just hit for gain elsewhere.

    Many of the posts here are getting agressive as the discussion continues, it becomes debates actually. I hope the gentlemen and ladies here can still remain a "gentleman" when you are trying to defend your points.

    When we post something in the forum, please consider to make it "readable" for other forumers. The heavy disagreements that involve two individuals should take place in private mails but not openly in the forum. What we would like to know is why you made such a point in the first place, and based on what reason your points are made, that's all. You can challenge other ppl's post, as well as making a post of yours and let other players to challenge it. That's the way of a gentleman.



    One of the weird phenomena I notice here is, many persons are putting their concentration on a weaker race but rare would comment about the races that may seem overpower. Everyone wants to boost up a race even more and more from time to time.

    In another word, for the race that has been boosted up good enough they do not want the development team to alter it, and then they are trying to boost up other races that may seem weaker. From the progress of this discussion thread lead to, the races and personalities are getting stronger and stronger, the % involved are been changed to higher and higher.

    Imo, I think this phenomena can be explained. It is the greed that is working inside ourselves. Everyone wants to get the race better and better, and thus result as the changes are been modified with a value, higher and higher.

    I will take an example for this situation. A few ages before, the highest changes in % usually does not exceed 20%. BE, attack gain, speed, population boost, t/m effectiveness or damage, it seldoms exceed the value of 20. However with the age changes, the value increase rapidly. Ppl are feeling not enough with the bonus given, 25% is been introduced, 30% is been introduced, 40% is been introduced, and this age, 50%.

    So will there be an age when we finally see a race having 200% bonus one day? This is the greed that is working, keep on demanding non stop for the better and thus result in this kind of situation today.



    Bonuses and advantages given to any races/pers should not be measured in quantity. After all what we need is an area of pros or cons, to make differences to be existed between races, so there would be strength that could be applied, or weaknesses that could be take advantage on. However just compare between race the result would be bore and predictable. And here is where the Personalities come, to allow one race combo with another advantages, in order to make it more, unpredictable. This is why I believe why personalities only have pros but never have any cons before like the races did.

    When there are differences, special skills or special uniques, there are borned strategies and tactics. Giving a race/pers a 10% advantage or 100% will still produce the same result. It is just when the value in bonuses introduced are larger, it ends up more difficult to find a balance between the races. That's all I can see in this current case today.

It wouldnt make sense in game and out of game. Lots of your suggestions are weird|un-needed|one-sided just to fit your playing style and not considered into practical.

    Nah.. Many of us see Orc and Fae as the 'go-to' races; dominating next age. Now we're trying to find other races to compliment those, and bring more flavor to the game. If you take the attributes of Orc and Fae as good, then you want to strengthen the other races in relationship to those two, and I don't see a need to weaken Fae or Orc. So they are basically the benchmark races for next age.
    The problem is, the other races are pretty well-balanced to one another. Human, however, is quite tricky and perhaps unplayable for most KDs. Their army just seems too weak to do anything with. Halfer seems to have lost quite a bit of attacker viability this round, too. Elf, Dorf, and Avian seem pretty equal to one another depending on what you want to do most with them. (and not everyone would agree with this, I know)
    100's of suggestions have been made, so I won't add anything specific to my overall impression of the races.

    Last time my kingdom used Shep was when it gave +10% pop. Since shep lost that it's not really useful anymore to a warring kingdom.
    I'm not worried about SKDs. They have smart people who will find an alternative. Merchant for example if they aren't already using it.
    Dragon protection sounds nice but how long does a kingdom suffer from dragons each age? Maybe 5 full days total. It's not really worth picking a personality just for that.

    No sir, I dont cry of feary being, so so much OP, I dislike very much when all of the races-1 have to play with at least one big risk, have to exchange acres all the time and then there is one race that just has to get fatter and fatter and it gets better by it.

    Yes, you can Ambush any attack that doesn't use Anonymity - even another Ambush. Since War Spoils removes captured land from the equation, all that's left for an Ambush to accomplish is killing their offensive troops. Sometimes it is a worthwhile tactic and other times not - the game is far too dynamic to say "this is always the way to go".


    As to the issue with what I proposed for Avians:

    In retrospect BOTH the 8/3 Elite and 6-point Dspecs may be a bit overpowering but, if Avian is expected to function as an A/T hybrid (which the proposed stats seem to indicate), they need at least one of these to make it viable - probably the Dspec. If their Elite remains a piddly 7/2, they need War Spoils.


    That issue aside (since that's the only part anyone has really commented on), would giving Humans 6/6 Elites in addition to their Population Bonus be OP?
