Beating somebody 1v1 after that somebody ****played you previous to upcoming conflict is not a punishment, its is incentive to repeat the transgression next time.

There has to be some form of punishment that goes beyond what would normally be experienced (in this case that would be 1v1 conflict).
Even if you were to completely anihilate theoretical transgressor in theoretical 1v1 conflict that is not worse than what would happen to him if he didnt secure unfair advantage with said ****play.
Quite the contrary its reasonable to assume conflict would pan out even worse for him is unfair advantage wasnt obtained.

Outcome of the 1v1 counflict would be completelly irrelevant, it would still serve as incentive to repeat ****play next time.
